Students will carefully examine the picture below. The link has been provided under the picture so that the picture can be blown up onto the Smart Board. Visual Discovery Activity #2
Students will carefully examine the image below. Once they have examined the picture for 3 to 5 minutes they should be directed to read the passage on the worksheet provided. After reading the passage students will answer the questions provided comparing the two. Optional: There will be a class discussion held so that students can compare their findings to their peers. Visual Discovery Activity #3
The images for this activity are provided in the workheet. They will be blown up and projected on Smart Board screen. This Visual Discovery activity consists of a simulated trip around the world. Students will be directed to raise their hands and call out specific details of each continent as they soar above them. This activity will be done with students sitting in two rows
on the rug in front of the Smart Board screen. There will be light music
playing in the background of the plane. Students will raise their hands to say
the answers to the questions provided on the worksheet, which are based on their location. The
pictures provided on the worksheet are a few that have been selected to be blown up and used one at
a time in the slide show on the front screen. Worksheet
